I have had several interesting responses. First was in Kohl's by a woman who said she was from Europe. She was wanting to buy stockings & I helped her. She couldn't figure out the size needed. She noted my ring & said it was pretty & the stones looked "real". I told her about our book club & about the book that got this started. She thought we sounded like a fun group!
I was a communion server the last two Sundays. Two teen girls & one 3-4 yr.old wanted to look at it! I met them in the coffee area after service, & told them the story. The toddler's Mom wanted to know where I got it o she could get matching ones for herself & daughter. That gave me an idea to search for two for my grand-daughters. No luck. Any ideas?
Last Wed. I had dinner with friends at Mexico Lindo. These were Scarlett Sisters, Of course they all noticed & proudly raised their hands to show them off. They loved the story of getting the idea from the book "The Necklace". We all wished for big bucks to by a diamond necklace!
Janet - Looks like the tale of the Bling Ring is now international. Way to go!
If you want to get rings for your granddaughters, your ring came from downtown Clarkston at Frank and Me. Thanks again to Judy for selecting the Bling for us.
BTW, without naming names, I have met two of the Bling Ring on King Road while not wearing their rings. I would report that here, but I had to thrust my hand into my pocket to escape being caught SANS BLING myself. So, in the interest of not pointing a blingless finger, I will refrain from mentioning anything about Judy and Janet who were out and about on their own street(as was I) with quick explanations and excuses. Ha!
