Monday (17th). Fun day. The Instructors at PT asked about all the comments I have received on the ring. They are really in to it. I went with Tom for a Flu shot at Oakland County. The nurse next to the one Tom was seeing commented on the ring. Wanted to know how I had the strength to hold it up. I started to tell her the story about 11 of us wearing the rings and before I could get into the whole story she asked excitedly if I had read The Necklace. Oh what fun. We had everyone in the room talking about the book. The nurse had gone to a book signing in Palm Springs and 7 of the owners were there with the necklace. She even touched it. She said it looked much like a tennis bracelet. Tom took a picture of the nurse and me with the ring front center. Made my day, her day and everyone in the room buzzing.
